A Baby and a Pair of Glasses

Hi all!  I'm back with another layout.  This one featuring my precious niece, Ellie.  :)

Glasses

Backstory:  My sister (Ellie's mom) wears glasses.  Somehow, Elle got a hold of them and was attempting to put them on.  She couldn't quite get it figured out.

Okay, so there's all kinds of stuff going on in this layout.  I created this little Chevron type design using an alternating mixture of washis and strips of patterned paper.  I did some machine stitching right through the center.

Meanwhile, I found these little red epoxy stickers I'd had for years and years, so started out using them all over the page for a kind of confetti effect. Weeeelllllll....it looked like I had blood spatters all over the page, so that just wouldn't do! I went back and covered them up (at least partially) with some legitimate confetti. Much better!

Supplies:  patterned paper - Studio Calico, Crate Paper, Bella Boulevard, Lily Bee Designs; stickers - Crate Paper; letter stickers - American Crafts; buttons - Basic Grey; twine - Divine Twine; flag - Elle's Studio; punch - Jenni Bowlin (Fiskars); washi tape - Bazzill, Cosmo Cricket, Amy Tangerine (American Crafts); other - epoxy stickers, confetti

A Couple of Cards

Good day, friends!  I'm currently enjoying my 5 week, that's right, FIVE WEEK, vacation in Ireland with my darling Lisa.  I hope this post finds you all well and good!

Today I have a couple of quickie little cards I have made to share with you.  I generally do my card making for specific reasons (lately it's been because my sister has bossed me into making cards for all kinds of special occassions for her!)

I am also a very quick and simple card maker.  I rarely do anything too fancy!

This first one is a baby shower card.  I found the quote online and just fell in love with it.  I typed it up, printed it out and stuck it on this cute tag by Pebbles.

Supplies:  patterned paper - October Afternoon, Pebbles; tag - Pebbles; button - October Afternoon; twine - My Mind's Eye

Next up, a card I made for a wedding shower. I used all Basic Grey products from their Little Black Dress line.

Supplies:  patterned paper, sticker - Basic Grey; punches - American Crafts, Fiskars

Captain Fantastic

Howdy!

Today I have a layout I created using almost exclusively Fancy Pants' Be You! collection.

I made this layout awhile back for a challenge FP was having on the Two Peas website.

Waiting For Captain Fantastic

I created the flower in the upper left hand corner of the layout by first misting using a doily mask.  Then I hand traced and cut out the pieces I used, using the mask as a template.

I love the Jenni Bowlin tab punch.  I probably use it on 75% of my layouts of late.

Supplies:  patterned paper - Fancy Pants Designs; punches - Jenni Bowlin, American Crafts; stickers - Cosmo Cricket, Fancy Pants Designs; letter stickers - Fancy Pants Designs, American Crafts; mask - Pink Paislee
