Hello My Name Is Lisa
With this kit was probably my favorite stamp ever, this great hexagon outline. I started with a piece of white cardstock and created a partial background using this stamp and the six primary and secondary colors, alternating them and going for a less than perfect grid.
I also used the great hexagon mistables from Studio Calico and created a design with those around my photo and placed some randomly inside the grid I created.
The letter stickers are the Color Magic stickers from Heidi Swapp. I ended up using some Copic markers to color them in and they didn't turn out quite like I had hoped. A little too streaky and hard to read.
Supplies: patterned paper - Heidi Swapp; stamp - Studio Calico; ink - Colorbox, Stampin' Up; clips - SMASH (K & Co); washi tape - Bazzill; letter stickers and die cut - Heidi Swapp; hexagon mistables - Studio Calico; markers - Copic
Here's my question for anyone that has used the SC mistables or the American Crafts mistable thickers or any other color alterable product...how do you completely cover them, while keeping them from getting so saturated that they fall apart when using a mist? I ended up using stamp ink to cover the mistables I used here because my success rate with spraying them is zilch. The pros always make them look so easy!
Thanks for looking!
